ABOUT US

Light Green was born out of my personal desire to give women a choice when buying skincare products and cosmetics. When I was younger my feelings were always to try and use the most ‘natural’ skincare products available; years of concoctions and potions involving oats, beer, bananas and raw eggs seemed like fun as a teenager, but I then started looking for something altogether more gorgeous, healthy and effective.

High quality organic skincare ranges evolved and I decided to take the plunge and open an ‘emporium’ stocking some of the best and most effective skincare and mineral based cosmetics ranges available. Light Green has been trading for six years and I can honestly say that I still get a huge thrill out of introducing a new ‘find’ into the shop, be that an amazing foundation or a fabulous vintage nightdress. However, my real joy is meeting and talking to all the wonderful women who come to see us – the experience has been about so much more than ‘make-up’!

I like to think that there is something special about the shop environment and the wonderful girls that I work with; people often comment on how calm and nurtured they feel here. Please come and see us – we have a wealth of experience and knowledge and we’d really love to be able to help!
